"My husband and I were married at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History in May 2007 and were lucky enough to have Devring’s as our caterer. Margie was more than accommodating. She kept in constant contact with us throughout the planning stages of our event and really seemed to understand what we wanted from the evening....."

Themed Events -
Bungle in the Jungle
More than 500 guests were wined and dined at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History event to honor Jane Goodall and her chimpanzees. Buffets and bars were draped in hundreds of yards of hand made “leaf” linen to give the tropical jungle feel.
Guests feasting at the buffet heard the wild animal sounds of the rain forest and the occasional thunderstorm along with the visual of lightning through the huge tropical trees and plants complete with tropical birds in the center of the buffet. A low roll of fog rose across the buffet table enhancing the effect.
Traditional African food was prepared and served on Banana leaves and bamboo. African carved animal bowls were filled with such delectables as mango salsa, red pepper sauce and Peanut sauce. Huge 48” copper trays were filled with shrimp and chicken skewers. The dessert buffet was over the top with three 6 ft. pineapple trees skewered with fruit. Bamboo trays and giant banana leaves filled with goodies all to dip in the gorgeous chocolate fountains.
This event was written about in Black Tie Cleveland and featured in the About Town column in The Plain Dealer.
